It’s a journey and I don’t think there is a tangible ‘aim’.
Here are a small selection of the work by Oliver Lancaster from his latest show ‘Please Come’. The pieces are painted in enamels on canvas and aluminium.

The art of Dirt Cheap
Some new work from Oliver Lancaster Smith, 3D collages created for a private buyer and a sketchbook page. This work, along with most of Oliver’s work is based on everyday experiences and thoughts, put together in a way to try and recreate the complex thought structure and wide range of emotions and experiences in daily life. Finally producing a confusing and detailed piece which has a level of depth, both physically and metaphorically. The aim being for the audience to see the piece as a whole and then have the ability to focus in on a section and find new imagery and ideas.
After doing the first series of Tees for Rizzle Kicks, Oliver was also asked to design some special edition T Shirts for their performance with Olly Murs at the BRIT Awards! Rubbish screen-grabs follow, better pics to come…
