Evidence – You (prod. DJ Premier)
Back with an already heavily praised album (Cats and Dogs), Evidence, of Dilated Peoples fame is ensuring Hip-Hop aint dead yet! With the current trend in rap being for everyone to sound the same and slur the end of their lyrics like they’re from the deep south, it is nice to hear some originality. Of course with Preemo on the beat you know this is gonna be hard! Video is okay apart from the obligatory motion sickness camera work which is the new rage, and the ‘street art’ elements.
